Poodle Chihuahua Mix

A Poodle Chihuahua Mix is a very interesting mixture of two dogs, one that has a laid back personality and a dog that is more assertive. 

These dogs are also called a Wapoo, Chipoo, Poochi, and Poo-Chi.

Colors:

The colors can vary from all black, white, or tan, to different shades of these.

Coat:

Most have the longer wavy hair of the poodle, so the amount of grooming required is much more than a Chihuahua.  Their coats are surprisingly soft and you can just use a scissors for grooming because a clipper would be to heavy.

Size and Health:

Normally with mixes it is hard to guess what the weight , temperament , and health will be.  But in general these dogs a pretty healthy and in general do not have an increased incidence of diseases.

In general these dogs are bigger than Chihuahuas, but much smaller than Poodles.  Again, the size can vary a lot.
